Administrative Pastor

Mike joined the staff of FBC in January of 2011 and has served three churches in ministry and administration since 1992. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ouachita Baptist University (1975) and then did graduate work in banking at LSU and seminary study at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. Mike and Debbie married in 1980 have three adult daughters; Jessica, Leslie, and Katie.  Ministry opportunities that are rewarding for Mike are teaching young adults, helping oversee the church finances, hospital visitation, counseling, and working with people who have unique needs (church staff included!). Mike’s favorite singer is his wife. Debbie is an educator by ‘trade,’ but the Lord has used her to minister to so many through her music. Away from work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and occasionally playing golf. Most of all, Mike is grateful for the privilege to serve the Lord at FBC.
